‘Mubarakan’ returned to the track, doubling on the weekend


Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Anil Kapoor and his nephew Arjun Kapoor’s movie Mubarakan have come back on track in the case of earnings. It is being said that both the actors have not let their kinship-rich chemistry be useless. The movie, released on Friday, July 28, Mubarak has done a good business in the box office at the first weekend.

Let us tell you, director Anees Bazmee’s film Mubarakan has earned Rs 10 crore 37 lakhs on Sunday at the box office in India. Let’s say that the earnings of the first day are more than two times more than the collection of Rs. 5 crore 16 lakh. However, it was thought to be from Saturday’s box office collection. Actually, the film had earned Rs 7.38 crore on Saturday.

Let us tell you, Mubarak has got a collection of 22 million 91 lakh rupees on Box Office India in the first three days. However, compared to the previous films of Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, these figures are less in terms of earnings. In fact, Arjun Kapoor’s last release Half Girlfriend was the first earning of 32 million four lakh rupees at the domestic box office in the weekend. In the previous three days, Anil Kapoor and Anees Bazmi, the previous movie, Welcome Back had earned about 51 crores in the first three days, which is much more than that.
